The locomotive maintenance building located in Mullens, West Virginia, currently owned by the Norfolk Southern Railway. The
building was constructed somewhere between the 1940's and 1950's by the Virginian Railway, which merged with Norfolk
& Western in 1962. The building was the maintenance hub for maintaining the fleet of electromotive engines for the Virginian
line which ran from Mullens, WV, southward 134 miles to Roanoke, VA.

A coaling tower located near Welch ( Hemphill ),West Virginia in McDowell County. Possibly constructed by the Norfolk &
Western Railway, construction date unknown. Currently abandoned, sits on Norfolk Southerns main line.
