The awesome Shay iron horses of Cass Scenic Railroad.
The following photos, crude as they may be, are of the old C&O K-4 class 2-8-4 Lima locomotive that sits at Chief Logan State
Park in Logan County,West Virginia. She was built in 1947 along with 9 others. She and her sister engine # 2756, that sits
in the Huntington Park, are all that survive. The others were all scrapped by 1961. I hope to visit Chief Logan Park when
the weather permits for better photos to post.
